Clio's - Guatemala City

I still dream of Clios delicious food!! The presentation was beautiful and the flavors were from this world. Clio was our first station when we arrived in Guatemala. You can say our love for Guatemala began at Clio. Can't wait back!

Delicious breads, ingenious sauces and fantastic food. I bought all kinds of delicious treats from their little store inside to take home...

The chef grows his own lettuces and microgreens on the restaurants roof. Enough said! Chef driven, excellent food.. On point the whole way. I had one if the best salads I've ever had at Clio, photo below. Fresh Strawberry, Toasted hazelnut and an excellent berry vinaigrette. They also have a KEG of awesome citrusy local beer which is almost unheard of in Guatemala. The design of the place is very fresh and light and airy, lots of plants, totally open post modern design, high ceilings and skylights. In excellent taste!

Great food and great place. The french food is modern and all of it is great. The cocktails are super recommended and my favorite one is the black margarita.
