The bouncer compared my license to my friend's authentic American license, determined mine was not real, and denied me entry. He also did not accept my Michigan student ID. I would recommend avoiding this place when you travel, as they may refuse entry even if you have all the necessary documentation.
This restaurant is awful. They allow their unattractive bouncer's friends to jump the line, causing it to not move for over 30 minutes.
I went to this restaurant expecting good food but was let down by the limited menu and small portion sizes. The staff were unfriendly and I also found the "night life" to be disappointing, with both the staff and apparently the owner being rude. There are plenty of better dining options nearby that I would recommend checking out instead.
Frank Steins pretends to eat something, but don't order it. The kitchen is sketched and they draw from played industrial tricks to their portions seem larger than they are. If you are here for a night of drinking, and want with a bunch of hockey players and university skirs who think they are the extras of Friday night light, that is your place. Otherwise, if you want a place with good beer and actual atmosphere, stay away.
I've gone in for food once, and was disappointed with the menu and portion sizes. Staff was rude. I've also gone once for the 'night life', and was very disappointed with how rude the staff was - including what was apparently the owner. There are plenty of great options within meters of this place that I will always suggest/go to before coming back.
