The focus is primarily on takeout. We have found every dish to be well-prepared and we love the flavors. They offer lunch specials and some combination plates, but typically do not allow substitutions. I also appreciate that you can receive free chicken wings or wontons when paying cash for pickup. My favorite dishes are the Pork Lo Mein and the Singapore noodles. This is a franchise restaurant, with another location in Burlington. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they make an effort to get to know regular customers.
This is a take-out Chinese restaurant that is pretending to be a sit-down restaurant. I am disappointed that I had to drive all the way out to a remote location based on the positive reviews, only to realize once I arrived.
We ordered two packs of rice noodles; one with shrimps and another with beef. The rice noodles seemed too soft (overboiled). We ate better rice noodles in Richmond Hill.
We ordered takeout from this restaurant and opted for the meal for 4 which cost around $50. It was enough to feed three big guys and a girl, with leftovers for 3 more meals. They were very accommodating with allergy requests, even in the pre-set dishes. The food was ready in about 10 minutes. Once we got home, we found the food to be decent. The chicken balls were smaller than those at other places, but you get a lot of them. The red sauce had a unique and good taste that set it apart from other places. The chicken fried rice was good and the General Tao chicken had plenty of vegetables. The fortune cookies weren't great and the quality of the meat was slightly lacking, but it was on par with other Chinese restaurants in Guelph.
Recently ordered delivery from this restaurant. We had made ingredient changes to some dishes, but our order arrived as specified, on time, and hot. We were very satisfied with the portion sizes and the food was really good. Will order take out from here again, and try some other choices on the extensive take out menu. This place is definitely one of the better take out Chinese food places I have tried in Guelph.
