The Pita Pit - Guelph

We visit the Woolwich/Woodlawn location (beside the Walmart plaza) Every time I go in, I am charmed by the owner, his son...in fact ALL the staff. It isn't just friendly service. It's something more....a sense that they actually want to make you the greatest pita ever and they want you to know that they feel grateful for the opportunity to do it. Best service in a fast-food type business I've ever experienced. I always leave feeling lighter, happier and like my faith in humans has been restored. Their pitas are great, fresh and good quality ingredients.....but I swear, even if the pitas were only mediocre, I'd continue to go because the customer service experience is so wonderful.

For someone whom has very sensitive celiac disease, I have never gotten ill from eating at this restaurant. They offer gluten free pitas, salads, smoothies, and coconut snowballs. The staff are very friendly and will clean counters and change gloves with absolutely no hassle. The restaurant is very clean and veggies are fresh. Would return and recommend

This Pita Pit location on Silvercreek Pky N is unlike any I've ever been to. The employees are far from friendly and don't greet customers who walk in. They seem inconvenienced by having to take your order and prepare your pita. Unlike other Pita Pits, they charge extra $ for melted cheese, or extra toppings beyond the normal. The group of employees who served us had trouble speaking English (& probably don't speak French), and were very quiet. Interacting with them was frustrating. They do not appreciate your business and definitely won't thank you for entering their store. Regarding atmosphere, I rated this 2/5 stars. The interior is quite dark and relatively dirty. 30 minutes could go by before they clean off a table customers have used. Considering there is only 5 or so tables, this can become troublesome. The tables are very close to the kitchen area and checkout queue which makes for a uneasy and uncomfortable dining experience. I visit a Pita Pit at least twice per month and would highly recommend you avoid this location at all costs. Drive 4KM north to the location on Woodlawn Rd W for a much BETTER experience! The Woodlawn team is amazing, and will do anything to make you happy. Final thoughts: Do not visit this Pita Pit. Take your business elsewhere.

If you are looking for a healthier and tasty meal, this is the place to get it. Toppings are always fresh. Staff is always friendly. Personally I love the Dagwood with spinach, tomatoes, green olives, feta, horseradish and chipotle sauce.

The first time I visited this Pita Pit, many years ago, it exceeded my expectations, and I've been a regular customer ever since. It is always clean and the toppings are usually quite fresh. While the servers have changed over the years, I still find that they all do a great job of building my perfect pita. They would jam 5 handfuls of lettuce in the Pita if I asked for it! This Pita Pit raises the bar and no other pita/sub shop I've been to has come close.
