Tim Hortons - Guelph

The customer service here is dreadful. The staff, primarily students, seem uninterested in serving food or meeting even the most basic needs. Management doesn't take responsibility, instead shifting blame onto the customers. I particularly appreciated paying for food only to be denied access to the restroom—what a nice touch!

I had a terrible experience at this Tim Hortons. It took half an hour for my Ice Capp to be ready, and the employee struggled to operate the cash register. Even after I politely explained how to use the credit card machine, he still couldn't figure it out. To make matters worse, the washrooms were locked, and I was told I would have to wait until 6 AM to use them, despite having already paid. This kind of treatment felt discriminatory, as I believe the employee assumed I was homeless, which is completely unacceptable. Such attitudes are frustrating and reflect poorly on humanity. Tim Hortons really needs to improve their service. I won’t be returning to this location, especially since I also spotted some cockroaches—it was just disgusting.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The drive-thru was incredibly slow, with a wait of about 10 minutes. I ordered a chicken wrap and an iced tea, and I noticed one of the staff members chatting instead of preparing my wrap. To make matters worse, her hair was dangling over the food, and she was constantly pushing it back with her gloved hand. When I finally received my order, the wrap looked more like a pancake than anything else. Additionally, the area for dropping off donations for the camps was in a terrible state. It’s unfortunate for the kids who rely on those donations. I can only imagine how chaotic it must be inside the restaurant.

The server had trouble hearing and understanding us, which made the ordering process take a bit longer.

I absolutely love Tim's coffee, and this location is amazing! The service is quick and the customer care is excellent. The muffins are delicious, and I always have to get the farmer's wraps! I think the negative reviews must be from people who were having a rough day because I haven't had any bad experiences here. Thank you for always bringing a smile to my face, Tim's!
