I had the Focaccia bread app (which was very good), but then the fish and chip food... after my app was simply not worth mentioning. Extremely small pimple fillets (almost as small as perch), the bread was tough and tasteless and the shoe friars were somehow boring. The only part of the fish and chip dinner I had was her house colonel. Tons of taste and tangent if it were for sale, I would have bought some. Our waiters were fantastic and happy. No delays in our meal and did not feel rushed. I think instead of a dinner this facility would be better suited for a drink on the terrace in the summer months and add in a few apps. Dinner was $80 for 1 APP, 2 Entrees and 2 alcohol drinks (not included). Don't break the bank.
We came to lunch on Wednesday at the beginning of November. It wasn't busy. The place is quite large inside, divided into rooms as a restored old Victorian home. Cool decoration and art everywhere. Our server Haley was super helpful, friendly and efficient. We tried... the chicken caesar wrap, the Birria (such as beef on a bun) and the fried beet salad with one side of chicken. Portion size is quite generous. Flavours are exceptional. Especially like the ability to choose half-salat half-fries as my side. The fries were some of the best I had and were apparently made in the house. The side salad came with a house dress that was once again one of the best I had lately. We cannot wait to try more items in this amazing restaurant.
Today for lunch in the Wooly. Found street parking, not much available parking nearby. The Wooly is a renovated house that has a very cozy, relaxed atmosphere that we liked. There are tables in different rooms with a terrace in the back....We ate inside because of the cool weather. The BBQ Burger was fantastic, the crispy chicken sluice was what you would expect and the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was sharp! I didn't expect the hot honey to be so sharp. Wow, my mouth was deaf 20 minutes after the meal. The frits were also very delicious and crispy. I would definitely try other items on the menu again.
Great craft beer. Excellent service friendly and knowledgeable about the different craft beers on tap.
Great staff! (first and foremost) Food was good heed the warning on spicy chicken. Great variety of beer. That and my wife, what else do you need?
