Boon Eat Drink - Guerneville

Started on the wrong foot, host told us it was a 20mn wait and ended up being around 1 hour. Estimates are hard so I get it, but also it's 2023 so a digital queue with an automatic SMS is an easy fix. Food was ok, we ordered 3 burgers and a polenta lasagna. Burgers ordered medium but came well done. Polenta lasagna is not really a lasagna it's just a block of polenta, for $20+ for an entree you expect something more sophisticated. We did mention the above to our waitress and initially she was very receptive and even offered to send out new burgers and a free dessert, that's until we gave feedback on the Polenta (which again is not lasagna). At the end they did give us the polenta for free so kudos there. All in all it's a solid 3/5 star restaurant with good quality ingredients but still a lot of room for improvement.

Fantastic spot. Best food in guerneville and probably in the larger area. Everything is organic, delicious, and creative. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Food is good but haven't changed the menu in 10 years. My biggest complaint is they add 20% to your bill for a tip, as the person who is paying the bill I decide how much to tip, think that's so rude.
