Cafe Fritzenkotter - Gütersloh

Located on the corner of the shopping district, this is a place where you can sit inside or outside and see the world over. There is a generous selection of cakes and the staff are more than happy to tell you what is in every... one. The teas and coffees were a perfect companion to the beautiful cake choices. This is a German tradition where I always like to participate.

I called for lunch to cafe and cake, good service, waitress spoke English and warned us that the parts of the cake we chose were great and maybe we would like to share... what we did and she wasn't wrong.... My wife had tea and it was a good mix, but remember to ask for black tea. The woman was good. Place was busy and had a good selection of cakes.

There is a cake here to suit many flavors, and you are easily tried. The café is not too large, but there is usually always a room. Has specialty teas and my buddy really likes their hot chocolate not for teenagers, they don't catch... they here because it is not full of trendy decor or special lighting. The café is comtable enough, old-fashioned in style as modern, but you come here for the goodies and the competent service.
