The Cricketers - Guildford

We don't dine out frequently, but we decided to come here for a drink and some food. I ordered the lasagna and it was absolutely amazing! It tasted like homemade and the price was very reasonable. The ambiance is lovely, especially when the log fire is lit. I can't wait for summertime to come back and enjoy sitting in the garden.

My husband, son, granddaughter, and I all went out for Sunday lunch and it was honestly the best roast I've had in years. The beef was beautiful, the portions were large, the vegetables were great, and the Yorkshire pudding was really tasty. I couldn't manage dessert, but my son had crumble and custard, and the other two had ice cream. I tasted the custard and it was delicious. Everything was excellent. Even our dog had a great time with the lovely biscuit treats. The staff were amazing, so friendly and courteous. Cheers to the chef. The friendly atmosphere extended to the other customers as well. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place.

So glad we pulled in here , the best homemade food I've had since nans Sunday dinners, lovely friendly people , great pub , bright airy,warm , local, amazing garden , kids menu , basket food , great British grub , can't wait to go back for more , ten stars

Could do with a refurb or maybe just a tidy up as there is quite a lot of clutter. 90% of the beers were unavailable but the wine was nice.
