Wonderful pub in the pretty village of Shere. Food was amazing especially the moules. Great staff too, very friendly and happy to help with our dietary needs. Will definitely be back when we are next in the area. Five stars all round. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our first visit to the William Bray exceeded our expectations: great service from friendly people; excellent quality food that is well above the average pub food; and a beautiful and relaxing setting we will definitely be back! We found the portion of baked monkish to be on the small side, but that seems to be the problem nowadays when you order fresh fish you get very little of it! But this is only a very minor gripe overall we were delighted with our dining experience.
