Contribuisci feedbackI am so impressed by this pub. I was looking for a venue for a small post-funeral gathering and had a total lack of response from other local venues. When I contacted Ye Olde Ship, Jeremy was fantastic and took so much trouble to respond. We had a lovely lunch. The staff were all very welcoming and supportive, the atmosphere was relaxing and authentic and the food was beautifully fresh, tasty and well-presented. I can't recommend the Inn highly enough. It's rare to find somewhere where so much attention is paid to pleasing the customer!
Have been visiting this pub for many years and still find it as warm and welcoming as the first day I set sail in this place.Very attentive staff, with an all hands on deck approach. One of the highlights is the 'Killer Crust ', which is great value. Also credit to the crew in the Galley who produce as good as if not better quality pizzas than that you would find on the typical High Street.Even if I wasn 't a regular visitor to this pub, I would still make a special effort to visit to make sure it stays afloat.Put simply, if this pub were a person, we would definitely have a great friendship.
The pub i warm and welcoming as are the staff, the food is delicious with great attention to detail, but most of all it is a 'proper ' pub with excellent beers and the sort of atmosphere that chain pubs simply can 't match, try as they might
Very welcoming and attentive staff, smiling and couldnt do more for you. Dog friendly, they brought a water bowl for Buddy and biscuits. Beers are good, Tribute ale my favourite, and of course the pizzas, big and crispy. If you're a big party, try to book the Captain's table....next to the fire. Great Pub, hats off to the owners.
Amazing food, amazing service& amazing atmosphere. In the meantime, it is 5 minutes driving from Guildford city centre, train station and main bus stop.
