Loose Leaf Boba Company

I was waiting for almost 30 minutes and the made drinks for people behind me first. They also forgot to put honey boba which is almost $1 for each drink. What a mess!!!

I came to use the “BOGO voucher” from Shops at Yale, the girl at the counter was incredibly rude, demanding ID and was already very confrontational. Apparently the coupon said I had used it already, which I hadn’t (I only got the email voucher two days prior, and haven’t been to Loose Leaf for a good while). I told her as such, and she essentially accused me of lying. I dunno, either she profiled me with some other Chinese dude who used his voucher already, or is just naturally combative; either way, horrible look for a FOH worker. I guess I must be *really* bored to be spending my days trying to get a second free boba drink… Even if she couldn’t take the voucher, a simple “sorry” suffices. I’m appalled by the attitude of this particular staff member, and disappointed since the other staff are nice. Honestly, go to Whale Tea their drinks are better and more authentic.
