Cha Mate - Guimarães

First time in Guimaraes. Ate twice here. Wonderful Cafe. Good food. Friendly staff. Good prices. Good location. I will definitely come back to try the giant toast!

Popped into here a couple of times whilst staying here. The cappachino i had was the best I've ever had and only €1.50. my wife had a pot of English tea €€2.20 and the toast is out of this world €1 each for a giant slab of ciabatta with beautiful butter and jam that lasted us all day without anything more to eat. Fantastic ambience in the cafe as well.

Lovely tea room/bakery in this lovely city. We had a day trip to Guimaraes from Porto, we had tea scones when we arrived and liked the place so much we came back for dinner before getting train back. The young lady who served us was especially charming.
