It was crowded, so service was slow. Otherwise, nothing to reproach. Good food, good prices, flexible staff.

We had just brought the Teleferico de Guimaraes to the top of the mountain (and not miss taking this trip for a wonderful view) and we were hungry and wanted some lunch. The view was nice and it was a bit cooler than in the...Valley. We've done some snack bar places when we went through the park with the entrance to the church. At the end of the park was a staircase that led a few steps down and over the street was a long dark wooden building that looked for the whole world as it belonged in a US state park. That was the first surprise. We went in and there was a white tablecloth place, fancier when we were looking, but we were hungry and the other diners wore casual clothes so we stayed. I had the lamb dogs that were wonderful, and the lunch of my wife was also fantastic, vegetables, bread, a bottle of local vinho verde and a large bottle of water and the whole bill was less than 30 euros. Another big surprise.
