O Talento - Guimarães

I can't say I am not biased when writting this review but you must know that I also will travel from abroad (germany) to spend a night in town with old classmates but also to return to O Talento! I did my studies in Guimarães and discovered this location back in the 90's. I fell in love with one of their highlights the one and only Posta á Talento. This is a huge piece of steak from a very thourough animal selection making it just perfect from a quality point of view. The sides are just typical portuguese with delicious baked botatoes with plenty of garlic and olive oil. We meet here every year for our class reunions and dinner is always a highlight..... Happy to recomend this place as I amsure you will be delighted with the quality of the food. I know Sr. Afonso (the owner) for 15 years now and can guarantee he will deliver only the best....

This restaurant can delight us with the meat quality. They have some extraordinary dishes. The service is very nice and fast. It's a must try and come back for sure!
