Quando se junta um local agradável com pessoal simpático e cozinha excelente, o que se pode dizer? Recomendar.

We were nearby and called for drinks in a few evenings. The place is beautiful inside and appeared popular with locals, and also some foreigners. We reserved a table for Sunday afternoon at 13.00 hours, we arrived immediately, but it was 13,20 before... we were even given a menu. They gave us an English version, although we can read a Portuguese menu very well. The first page is the menu touristy, not something we would normally choose, but we went for what a BIG MISTAKE was! I decided to order the calfsal and my husband ordered CATCH OF THE DAY! Finally they took our order, but no calfs left, I was offered goat, but when I did not ask a lover of goat I asked for chicken. Most people's meals were served with potatoes and vegetables that we both enjoyed. At about 1.30 p.m. our olives, pate, cheese and bread starters arrived (not much to pluck there). Our second starter, filled bread with cheese, which had arrived delicious at 22.00. But now we have lost the will to live! About 2.20 a.m. our catastrophic nets arrived, the CATCH of my husband from DAY was resurrected. I am aware that Guimarães is not on the coast, but many restaurants freeze the fish. We thought the DAY CATCH was Robalo or Dourada. My chicken came with chips! I wasn't happy at all. If I wanted chicken and chips, I would have gone to a Charasqueria! Dessert was good, wine delicious. We managed to leave the restaurant at 2.45. I think the most annoying thing about the whole noon was people who arrive after us, took their orders, served and left before us. When it came to payment, the owner only paid my husband for his meal. We had so high expectations for this restaurant, but were disappointed. I suggest that the owner gets rid of when Menu Touristic and offer the customer the choice of menu in English or Portuguese. The Portuguese menu has no menu tourism in how I checked after meal....

We visited this restaurant on recommendation and were not disappointed. The food was the best we had for a long time. We got to start some appetizers with which were very different, interesting and enjoyable, then we chose turtles and duchess potatoes and it... was just excellent. This restaurant is really a must to visit when you are in the area, the staff were very attentive, without being overlaid, even though to treat a whole house, very picturesque, clean little place that I hope I return to a day.
