The food was awful. Tasted like cardboard. We ordered to go so I think maybe we didn't get fresh food. I had just came off a cruise and I was too tired so I didn't pursue with management. I may try them again since I live not even 5 minutes from there. Never actually ate in the restaurant itself.
We dined here on Friday evening 10/21/22. Catfish Charlies does one thing better than anyone else in these parts. Fried Catfish! They have some other dandy things on the menu but what most of us throng in for is the Catfish. Our hostess took my pretty blond companion and me to our table and Jennifer was there promtly with a smile and an introduction and ready to get us going. She got beverages, a bowl of cole slaw with fresh baked buttermilk biscuits, butter and jelly and took our order. When the food came it was a whole plate of hot, crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside, catfish. Farm raised catfish is so mild and clean tasting. The baked sweet potatoes came hot with butter and cinnamon on the side. Everything was delicious. Folks, I was a Chef of the Coast here in Mississippi and been a chef for 43 years. I know delicious.I heartily recommend this great establishment to you. Food and service are first rate. When you find great food and service and cleanliness you have only great management to blame.Take note of the hours of operation though. Friday and Saturday only from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.Vegetarian options: They have a variety of vegetable extras that cant be ordered in a quantity that could make a meal.Kid-friendliness: This is a southern family restaurant. That frequently involves accomodating children.Parking: There is very ample parking near the entrance and much more if you don't mind walking a few yards extra.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp. Going into the restroom could be close.
Food was good, not worth the price unless you are actually there to eat a bunch at the all you can eat. Between 4 of us I think we ate 8 pieces for over $100. The fried pickles were fried too much, no pickle left.
Southern food paradise! The shrimp are fried to perfection but the catfish is the real star and all you care to eat!Plates come with biscuits, fries, Cole slaw, and huh puppies. Everything was delicious. And the service was speedy and charmingLimited hours so plan to get here when they are openKid-friendliness: There is a kids menu and game for kids to play while you wait to be seatedParking: Plenty of parking !Wheelchair accessibility: One level with no stairs
