Chester's - Gulfport

The nicest ladies were behind that counter on my drive into Louisiana. Such a country pleasure. I was in and out with my tenders and wedges in less than 5 minutes it seemed like but, they were so sweet. Even doubled me up on dipped sauces for no charge. Great white meat tenders for cheap and good kind country smiles. Can’t beat it.

Finally decided to give this place a shot and was not disappointed. Service was friendly and I was very happy with the food. Got the 8-piece family meal and everything was cooked right and delicious. LOTS of food for the price. Chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Best biscuits I've ever had. And I'm an okra fiend so the fact they even have it as a side option is a huge plus for me. My ONLY minor gripe was they lacked some sides being readily available as, from what I understand, a piece of equipment wasn't working or not working properly and it was taking them longer to make some sides. But I chose not to take a star away for it as I know some things can't be helped and I didn't want detract from my rating since I was still very happy with the food and service I did get. This is my new favorite chicken restaurant and I will be returning for sure!

Staff was very kind (always is when i come in occasionally) i was having a rough morning but the chesters employees were kind and uplifting and the manager of the loves/chesters was there and sparked up a convo with me. We talked for a few amd was delighted when he offered me a free strawberry pie with my meal.. definitely went a long way in reference to the rough day i was having. Definitely brightened my day (1-23-2023 monday)

Should have checked my stuff before leaving to make sure she give me everything I asked for but I want be getting anything else from here
