The burger was fantastic, and the fries were excellent as well. The prices are very reasonable. I’ve always had a fondness for drive-in diners; they remind me of Badeaux's in Madisonville, LA, and The Palace in Franklinton, LA. My wife ordered the chili cheese burger and mentioned it reminded her of one from Ward's.
The Rebel Dip is hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever visited! Their burgers and catfish are absolutely amazing—I find it hard to adequately express how delicious the food is. Rebel Dip, your cuisine is outstanding! I highly encourage everyone to stop by on Highway 49 North. You definitely won’t regret it!
The ice cream at this place is amazing, but unfortunately, the rest of the menu is quite average. The milkshakes stand out as excellent. I ordered the roast beef po' boy; while the bread was nice and pressed to my liking, the meat had the flavor of low-quality deli meat, and the gravy tasted pre-packaged. The burgers were made with thin, store-bought patties and didn't impress me either.
Best onion rings I have ever had! Really good burgers too!
Great Burgers. Ah, The Rebel Dip. They've been there forever. An old fashioned drive up and eat outside burger joint, the kind that used to be everywhere, but younger people don't know even existed. They have WONDERFUL burgers that taste like burgers used to tasted in the 50's. When they opened up like fifty or more years ago, they were right on the edge of town, now the town has built up around them.
