Samurai - Gulfport

We always have an amazing time at Samurai Sushi in Gulfport, Mississippi. They are definitely the best in town! We tend to overorder because we want to sample everything on the menu. Their specialty rolls are fantastic, and the grilled octopus is absolutely delicious—trust me, it’s really good! The restaurant is quite small and hasn’t changed in 16 years, but if it’s not broken, why fix it, right? Even when we go there for lunch, we often linger for two hours because we enjoy it so much. However, their poke isn’t as great; for that, I recommend going to the Samurai in D'Iberville, Mississippi. Thank you, Samurai!

The sushi is huge! Teriyaki steak is so tender and falls apart in your mouth. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be eating here alot more!

The food was incredible, and the service was friendly. The sushi and seafood soba were both fantastic. Just a heads up: be patient, as the dining experience reminded me of my time in Japan. Once you've received your food, the servers will typically leave you alone unless you call for them, as this is considered respectful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

The waitress was amazing and came in a timely manner offering information on anything I asked. The food yet new was well prepared and very good and the over all look and atmosphere was outstanding! Great place for a date!

Food was phenomenal. The menu is huge, they have a variety of rolls and platters to offer. The fish in the sushi was fresh and didn't taste like it was sitting in the refrigerator all week. We got seated fast and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend if you want sushi.
