Susie Cue's - Gulfport

Had a cheeseburger. bun was stale so it was a black mark. the bar/pool hall was clean and tidy. they had karioki, which was nice. Pool tables were well kept and flat.

Been here for years. Decide I would give them a shot. Came here about 4 times in a 3 week span. Each time, the bartenders never seem to care about taking orders in a timely fashion. A lot of talking and joking around in the kitchen while customers are ignored at the bar. 4 times is plenty enough to determine whether this is normal. It is. I'm sitting here now typing this review. Been sitting here ignored for over 10 minutes. Not even 5 people at the bar. No excuse. Just wanted some wings to go. Nevermind. Goodbye

I ordered on Waitr. My food was late and cold, which could have been the drivers fault. However, I didn't receive my drink, salad dressing, or garlic toast that was included with my meal. My steak was supposed to be an aged ribeye (10 Oz it was flank steak and was one of the worst steaks I've ever had. I've never been here nor do I intend on going or ordering from here again.

Tonight i had Police called on me because i was complaining about the music. This location use to be a mixed bar but apparently that is no more. I have been a regular guest for years and to be treated this way is unacceptable. I will never spend another dime in this place. This location is no longer considered a mixed bar and being that the name is changed and now a salon i don't believe i need to say any more.

Skeeters Aka Susie Q locations new name has been revamped to a country western saloon). I am guessing the revamp was due to the death that occurred outside in the parking lot as the unknown participants didn’t ever enter the facility . Per the report from the local news paper. I lived out of state for a number of years however when I returned this bar was always classified to carry a mix crowd, however after my most resent experience this place is going through a rephrase . They are pushing out the urban crowd , which is fine if they would speak openly and advise of such but just like a few other good ole boys spots on the coast. They wont speak up only hope that you get the hint if they make you feel unwelcome by changing up the dynamic’s. If you are seeking a mix blend with music to match this is Not The Place!!. The urban dollar is welcome with stipulations ex… you won’t here the music you may typically listen to. I’m saying all the above to say this stop putting your money in places that only see the value of your dollar but not the value in you as a human being. I will never attend this location again no matter how often they change their name. They also own Boogies where I witnessed a non urban culture person be hit in the eye with an 8 ball but hey it wasn’t a big deal because both parties were regulars.
