I would like to say that I spoke a lot about you here in Portugal. My visit to the middle of November (with my colleagues too) was very nice because of all the guys over there. In this place you will find good food, good beer and good people who talk to you and you feel like at home. Thank you for everything!

I was in town for business and went around the city of Gummersbach, which is a beautiful small town east of Cologne. I walked around the city center looking for this kind of space. I asked someone best place for beer and carving and they pointed me to the treeyard. It is the ideal German neighborhood pub. The local beer Erzquell Pils was on Hahn and it was excellent, great atomic sphere of locals who welcomed a lonely American in their pub. The bartender very helpful and cute Fabienne was very attentive and helpful to translate the menu for me with my limited German. I was told to the chief hunters on my own and had wild boars on the menu. I went for chips and potatoes and it was the best I had in Germany. The meal and several beer came only to 15 euros. I will never forget the kindness, hospitality and quality of food in the Baumhof.
