Luckily we had a table reserved for 4 days before dinner and even on Tuesday night the restaurant was full! We enjoyed some very beautiful traditional local cuisine, regional products (except the very beautiful Argentine steaks). Very well presented, large...portions above all from the pages like fries, pasta or bass, fast service we will surely be back!
We stayed for dinner in this restaurant after the advice of the reception of our hotel. Fortunately, the reception has booked a table for us, because on arrival the restaurant was completely booked. From the outside, the restaurant is very typical, as an example of the local...old architecture. The interior is less typical. Very good service, but unfortunately nothing more than average food. I ordered the Rumpsteak (the classic cattle steak with Bernaisesoße and vegetables. The meat was perfectly cooked (very rare as I like, even if the waitress did not ask the skill during the order.. but unfortunately the meat REALLY was tough. Okay, it wasn't a fillet (only the price was..!, but it was really too hard, even for a steak. ABSOLUTELY not worth the price (25,5 Eur).
Beautiful local food and good wine list. attentive and dedicated service.good tailor beer. Nice bar service also for the late evening
I have written a review for the Roessle before, this past Easter. We were a large family group and I found it very good. My wife and I visited again, in the summer this time, and I must say I would not go back. The service was frustratingly slow, and I believe the fault was in the kitchen and not necessarily the waiters (although there were only two for the whole Gasthaus). The restaurant was full on a Wednesday evening, a good sign, and the clientele were largely older, likely retired, Germans. Most tables had a reserved sign when we arrived at 19:00 but we were lucky and got a table for two (the last). The food this time was unremarkable. We had the Mediterranean plate and a salad with chicken strips. Nothing wrong, but nothing special either. The prices were on the high side (Euro 36 for the two 'vesper' dishes plus a half-liter of Chianti). The garlic bread with the Med dish was forgotten and was slow in finally arriving. There were four small slices of bread. The chicken salad was grudgingly served with - get this - three small slices of bread. You can eat better, cheaper and faster elsewhere, and hopefully sit on a nice terrace, which the Roessle does not have.
