Back Country Cafe - Gunnison

Our family had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, the food was served quickly, and it was excellent.

Emily was our server, and she did an outstanding job. She was quick to respond whenever we needed anything. The food was delicious too; I ordered the toasted hippy sandwich with tzatziki sauce, and it was fantastic. I also tried one of their coffee cocktails, which was excellent! I would definitely return.

I highly recommend visiting W Cafe instead of this place. The food was just mediocre. The sausage in the gravy seemed undercooked, and both my wife and I felt ill shortly after our meal; for someone who enjoys rare steak, it must have been pretty bad. The service was okay. I’m updating my review since I initially posted it just an hour after dining here, but it took about six hours for the undercooked sausage to really affect me. My wife didn’t fare as well. (Originally, I rated it 3 stars.)

A great breakfast place! The service was incredible, very attentive. The bacon was great and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The potatoes were really good and crispy. The pancake was HUGE, it was cooked well and had great flavoring. I?ll definitely eat hereagain, worth the short wait.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They were known about food preparation and ingredients related to gluten and milk. My coffee cup never went empty. Meals are very filled and you will not be hungry. The best Huevos Rancheros from here to Louisiana.
