Aqua - Guntersville

This restaurant is in a rather unexpected location. If your GPS seems to lead you astray, don't worry—it usually knows the way! It's situated in the middle of a hotel. The food was truly incredible. You should anticipate higher prices, but it was definitely worth it. The staff was fantastic as well!

While the restaurant has a beautiful ambiance, the food is far worse than what you'd find at a typical chain restaurant. Huddle, just down the street, serves steaks that are ten times better at a price of $8. Aqua, on the other hand, served us a cold steak for $28. The pasta was undercooked, and the steamed broccoli was cold. When I raised my concerns to the manager, they were absolutely no help. What difference does a 10% discount make? We barely touched our food—just three bites of steak and one bite of our side—and yet the manager didn't do anything to rectify the situation or to ensure that we might consider giving the restaurant another chance. Offering to remake the steak was insufficient when we had already waited 30 minutes for the first order; having to wait again for a remake is not ideal. They should really have a better cook in a restaurant like this, someone who truly understands their kitchen. Positive reviews aren’t always accurate, so if you’re willing to spend money on bad, overcooked, gray steak, undercooked pasta, and cold vegetables, then by all means, go ahead. I would highly recommend Huddle over this dreadful establishment they dare to call a restaurant. I've attached a picture of my order as proof, along with the prices and the $6 discount on an $82 bill.

The view was absolutely stunning, but the food left much to be desired. Given that a steak costs nearly $40, a touch of seasoning would have been appreciated. We didn’t expect a gourmet experience, but spending $120 only to be served Kraft mac and cheese was a major letdown. Regardless of how fantastic the view was, I won’t be able to convince him to return to this restaurant.

We've visited Aqua several times, and each time we've enjoyed a great meal. Everything we've ordered has been well-prepared. On our most recent visit, we both had the steak and lobster bisque, and the drinks were perfectly crafted before dinner. The dining room offers a stunning view of a large body of water that beautifully reflects the lights at night. The staff was very accommodating and friendly to our requests. For us, the hour-long drive is definitely worth it.

The food is all delicious and very pretty deserts are the best and drinks at the bar are wonderful you will not find a better place than aqua nice people also
