Restaurant Casa cu Pridvor

Given the prestige of their hotel, you would expect something big, but unfortunately this is not the case. The food is not bad, but there is nothing special about it. I found it quite expensive in view of the offer and competition. The situation has potential, but it seems wasted.

Eating tastes good, but the portions are small. Serving is bad, especially when it is overcrowded. They forgot to bring us some of the soup and for all the water we ordered, they didn't deliver glasses. We had to ask for them. Also in the search for a table for us was a challenge. The waiters didn't know how to help us, so we had to improvise a bigger table. View is beautiful, right to the street.

We had the ribs and tochitura. Both tasted astonishing and the green beans and potatoes that came with the ribs were more than just secondary dishes, they were delicious. Also the pig in the Tochitura tasted great (like free range) and the cheese was incredible...creamy. Definitely worth the higher price.

Good food, great service, nice music, friendly staff, decent prices. The menu is international with local dishes as well. Steak, pork, fish, pasta, pizza beside "tochitura", porcini mushrooms or "bulz". I have ordered steak, my wife trout and pasta with fish for the kid. As for dessert, papanasi, lava cake and Apple pie. The best lava cake I have got for quite a while.Definitely coming back.

I went with a group of friends to eat at the restaurant and the waiter said they only serve people who stay in their hotel. Terrible experience.
