Allen's Barbeque Grill - Gurdon

The beef lacked that smoky BBQ flavor but still had a decent taste. The bread was slightly stale. However, the coleslaw was fresh and quite delicious. The staff was cheerful and very friendly, and the restaurant itself was clean and tidy. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

I ordered the jumbo chop beef sandwich, but I was really disappointed. The meat was dry, and there was barely any sauce included. The staff didn’t seem happy or motivated, which reflected in the quality of the food. I chose to support a local business over Sonic, but this definitely wasn’t worth the $9 I paid for the sandwich. I won’t be returning.

The BBQ nachos are fantastic! Although the restaurant is small, the portion sizes are generous. The staff is friendly, and the food is excellent, especially for a small town!

The pork sandwich was outstanding. The BBQ sauce was rich in flavor and could easily compete with any sandwich from my hometown of Memphis.
