Do a favor. If you drive the Mississippi, stop here and take a prize-winning piece of berries cake, get it to go and go sit a bank opposite the river. You won't regret it.
Easy stop for lunch. Pie was a plus. Table service or go from an old service counter. Good selection of local, German variations on traditional sandwiches. Pie sold, so order early! No outdoor seating. Includes shop with local food and wine. We have Iowa maple syrup. Open til 4, but food service stops at 2:30 on Saturday.
Excellent food and super nice people in a beautiful, picturesque city. Try your homemade cake It's delicious!
Everything is homemade and tasty! Also at good prices! Old school river town atmosphere!
