Dropped in here whilst away on business. Friendly staff, good grub and superb beer particularly the dark side bitter...lush.

Great tasting real ales from the Purple Moose brewery. Good prices for fantastic ale. We didn’t eat there but the menu looked good and judging by the amount of people that came in just before they started serving evening meals it must be good,

We ordered the steak pie and lamb mains. Each were served with fresh vegetables, which we appreciated since we are touring. It was delicious comfort food. Good value for money.

Tried again for lunch but nothing on. A bit hit and miss with food service and sometimes an odd atmosphere. Beer good though.

We were staying a few days just outside Porthmadog. Today we went into the town and had been recommended to visit this eatery. Why? Because the Nachos were to die for. We were not disappointed. From walking in to leaving we were treated as individuals, with respect. The menu was excellent, prices so realistic especially when you saw the size of the servings. Steve who served us throughout was jovial, professional and respectful. The service was quick, booths clean and well equipped with condiments and even power supply for phone charging and laptops. The place has a great rustic feel, the walls covered in chalkboards which had everything from a history lesson to awards. If you want a great lunch menu which is served quickly, hot and in great portion sizes with fabulous ales and drinks menu look no further. Thank you. Andy and Diane. 14-9-23
