However, we went on a rainy Saturday afternoon and were looking to eat indoors which they do offer right next to the chippy, but it was filthy! We told the staff and they said they would sort it but instead sent a boy from the burger king next door cleaned our tables quickly and was a very kind and smiley young man. Overall good service with friendly staff but the dining room could’ve done with some cleaning whilst the place was quiet. Do recommend but can be quite expensive depending on how many people you order for.
Went to cooks first day at Haven at Burnham on sea the chips were soggy the fish was small the batter was disgusting the fish and chips cost £24 for two of us a total rip off.
I waited for 45 minutes, but the food never arrived. When I went to the restaurant, they claimed they were busy, even though there were only 2 people there. They still forgot part of my order and didn't offer any apology. It was a disappointing experience and I will not be ordering from them again.
I was staying at Haven and was craving fish and chips for dinner. I was hesitant at first because of the high prices - £8.49 for a battered cod and nearly £5 for chips. However, I decided to give it a try, hoping it would be worth it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The fish was small and dry, not fresh as it seemed to have been sitting in warmers for a long time. The chips were also very disappointing, like eating cardboard. It was a complete waste of £40 as I had to throw most of it away. I will not be returning.
The staff working moaning and looking misrible. 0 customer service. The food is over priced £4.09 for a large chips which are like £1 super market value frozen chips. I asked for a fish but apparently sold out. This is a seaside resort and the prices are sky high and food quality are below average. I am telling you go get some pork scratchings from the bar if your hungry.
