Mash Barrel Hafan-y-mor - Gwynedd

Although I have noticed that other customers have left positive reviews, my own experience was not as favorable. I am not particularly picky when it comes to food, but I found the service to be lacking (most likely due to being understaffed). The hunters chicken and fish in both the children's and adults fish and chips were overcooked and had a rubbery texture. To be honest, I have had similar meals at Morrison's café for much cheaper and better quality. I would recommend saving your money and dining at a café, or spending a bit more for higher quality food elsewhere. The portion size for the children's meal was quite small, as seen in the attached photo. In my experience, pub chains usually offer good food at reasonable prices, which was not the case at this restaurant. Located at a holiday park, it seems that the limited dining options allow for lower standards. The lack of soap in the ladies' room was mentioned by members of our group. The cost for two adult meals with drinks and one child's meal came to £30 without dessert, with adult meals starting at around £9.99 at the lower end.

We all enjoyed our delicious meals at this restaurant. The service was very prompt and the staff were pleasant. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Poor food and poor service my son's mash had rock hard over cooked mash and when I told the waiter he did nothing about it

£6 for a small bowl of mash nothing else for a child writing this review before I've got my food and this place has already left a bad taste in my mouth

Very slow service. Had to wait to be seated and then had to remind server about our drinks order. This was at lunchtime when it was virtually empty. Food was good.
