Called in for food as we were passing and in need of comfort food after a busy day. We had a starter of mushrooms and one of Brie and mains of sausage mash, which was served with some veg and gravy. It was nothing fancy but good comfort food and very enjoyable. We were served by a young waitress and a young lad who were very pleasant. It was sweet to see kids helping out their parents? All in all, it hit the spot and I would defiantly recommend for some good honest comfort food. If we are ever in the region again I would probably book in to stay as it seemed such a lovely family atmosphere.
Rooms were neat and clean! Handy bar at the hotel and friendly staff. The owner recommended all the tourists attractions nearby to us which was very handy. :
Fab place, very cosy but beautifully done inside. Food is excellent and the staff are all very charming.
I was camping at the weekend and we found this place to get some dinner. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Food was good pub grub and cooked with care. I would have liked a few more vegetables with mine but the ones I got where cooked perfectly. It’s not a gastro pub so don’t expect to much its good honest well prepared pub grub.
