Unfortunately, a man in the bar rudely demanded that the ice creams be finished before entering. Despite the young people with ice cream being outside on the terrace, we were told to finish them outside before being allowed back in. The staff's manner was aggressive, and it felt like we had disrupted a family gathering. As a result, we decided to take our £30 elsewhere. We recommend going down the road to Wilderness, where the staff is extremely friendly and serves delicious lattes with whipped cream.
Unfortunately, the website indicated that the restaurant was closed when we visited on a Monday, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and attentive, the views were amazing, and the menu was great. We definitely plan on returning and highly recommend not missing out on this gem when in Harlech.
The view at this restaurant is exceptional and the food is delicious. It's a pity that they only serve between 12 and 2:30. They offer a great selection of drinks. While the prices are not particularly cheap, they are comparable to other places.
Limited menu when we visited so we just had cake and tea which was lovely. Staff where pleasant and the establishment was very nice with spectacular views overlooking the castle and the coast. Be aware it’s cash only which was a little annoying as only had a small amount of cash on me and wanted to stay longer and order more but couldn’t. Overall very very nice and will return for sure.
Stunning sunset and castle view to die for. Friendly service. Lovely home made food. Highly recommend. (Please check opening time as it varies!
