Initially a pop-up in this coffee shop, it is now a permanent fixture open Wednesday to Saturday nights, which I am thrilled about. Lunch plans are also in the works. Ta Ta Ta Ta is led by Zijun Meng and Ana Gonçalves, who previously worked with Nuno Mendes at Viajante and Chiltern Firehouse. Their fusion of Chinese and Portuguese cuisine creates a warm and inviting family atmosphere. I will definitely be returning for more miso!
The atmosphere at Curio Cabal is lovely and I really enjoyed the baked eggs. However, I have to give it a 3-star rating because the service is slow and it doesn't really stand out from its competitors. The prices are not very competitive and the food is not particularly delicious. It's a shame because this place has the potential to be great.
I was hoping to love Curio Cabal, a trendy and cool cafe in Haggerston, but my recent visit left me disappointed. We went on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch and asked about the soup of the day and sandwich options, but the responses were vague and underwhelming. I decided to try the asparagus soup with vegetables and toasted cheese bread. The soup was tasty, but the cheese was not. When I mentioned this to the staff, they brought me a plate of cheese slices with some hairs on them. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
The sweetest little caffe on the kingsland road. locally to me, so throw away a stone to get a coffee. they also have a nice small terrace and some Wi-Fi if they want to set up their office and work for a bit. the terrace is large and while it looks on the main street, gives them the high hecken a little private sphere and rest. not full of hipsters, but cooled natives when I went there. they are also known to make small independent exhibitions of independent artists.
Curio cabal is a brilliant little spot in haggerston, right above the bridge that crosses the canal. in the corner of a series of buildings, the inner is small, but not cramped, with lots of natural light, there is an intimacy that is beautiful to small coffee rolls or catch up. as haggerston, the inner naturally has the necessary, slightly incomplete aesthetic, and each table is decorated with highly inscribable succulents in a much number of quirky, miss-matching pots.
