They weren’t bad, just nothing I’d ever consider getting again. The soup was meant to be corn and crab and I could taste neither in it. Second course was stuffed zucchini flower and blueberry gnocchi. The zucchini flower had way too much tomato sauce so ultimately that’s all you could taste. Gnocchi was way too sweet. Even some shaved Parmesan over it would have cut some of the sweetness. Third course halibut and filet. The filet was good, the halibut was not. It also came with sweet potato risotto that tasted nothing like sweet potato. Dessert was banana gelato. The gelato had nice flavor but was clearly scooped previously and frozen in the serving dish. It was rock hard and had a layer of freezer ice crystals over the surface. It was advertised as chocolate shavings and had chocolate chips instead. I returned this and got the tiramisu instead which tasted like tiramisu. I would not recommend this farm to fork menu to anyone.
We had heard about this restaurant as being excellent and it lived up to the expectations! Service was a welcome highlight, our server was very pleasant and offered excellent advice. The only caution is parking is limited and can be a challenge.
All courses, this time, were hot. Well except for the salad. My one disappointment? I asked for the filet medium rare. The steak was so well done, chewy and really not edible and any attempt to pass as filet fell short. All else was up to Tre Famiglia standards. Our server, Karen, was so helpful and attentive despite the place being packed. As this place has been always exemplary I will return.
We always go to Farm To Fork event, and regular nights also. At this event, the food was divine, service was perfect. Our server was great and so were the busboys. Tre Famiglia is consistently wonderful.
We had the farm to fork menu. It was delicious. Appetizers and dessert were well portioned. The main course was too large. Three scallops, three shrimp, and a lobster tail. Wow! It was all very good. The room was warm, but every table was full on a Tuesday evening.
