The hotdogs were overcooked, and the buns were dry and not fresh. The slushies had melted, and overall, the food was quite disappointing.
The fries are famous for a reason. Their seasoning and the way they're fried make them truly unique. The cheeseburger was decent, but it didn't stand out as much as the fries did.
I ordered food to-go, and it arrived on time and appeared fine at first. However, midway through my spicy chicken sandwich, I discovered a blue foreign object in the chicken patty. It was extremely off-putting, and I really hope it’s an isolated incident. If there are any issues, I may need to consult a lawyer.
I ordered two servings of their new 8-piece chicken strips, but they were really disappointing, and I ended up throwing them away. The honey mustard sauce was also unappetizing. I had high hopes for the fries, since Checkers is known for them, but they didn’t enhance the meal at all. The only highlight of my visit was the lovely girl at the drive-thru window, which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. I'm hesitant to try them again because this was the worst dining experience I've had at a Checkers, reminiscent of my first visit to a Rally's in Augusta, Georgia, back in 1985.
