Penn Avenue Meats - Hagerstown

Can 't say enough about Penn Ave. Locals know it 's basically just called, Penn Ave. You don 't even need to say the meats. Best steaks, pork chops, bacon and SERVICE you 'll find anywhere in Htown. Meat is priced same as grocery store but much better quality. Locally-owned, get out there and support your community with this one!

Quality of food has gone downhill. Beef and pickle salad tasted like ground up cardboard. No beef flavor at all.Vegetable soup tasted like it had sugar and alot of) in it. Chicken potpie had more dough than chicken.This place use to be excellent. Not any longer.

The worst pre-made hamburgers I have ever had in my life. Rubbery and tough. Tasteless. Afraid to eat and threw them away.How can hamburger be tough?Quality of meat has gone downhill. I have been a customer for years.

I read some of the negative comments and I'm not sure where they went, but it wasn't here!First of all EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, BEYOND FRESH, DELICIOUS FOOD AND OTHER PRODUCTS, AND DEFINETELY FAIR PRICES FOR GREAT QUALITY MEATS!
