Homely Maid - Hailsham

Visited this beautiful place with my Wife for afternoon tea and the staff are really helpful and the afternoon tea was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone to visit if in the area.

Excellent afternoon tea for four. sandwiches and cakes were beautiful. the staff was very friendly and welcoming. to cover everything, they have a birthday banner for my 95 years young mother in law. I wish I could have approached. highly recommended

Simply the best! we enjoyed the afternoon tea all over the place, but never one that made this better. absolutely delicious. if they do not agree, they must be very difficult to please. super service of charming employees in very cozy and attractive environment. apparently very popular among the locals. we will be back.

Not knowing what to expect from the charming afternoon tea at the homely maids, my wife and I were thoroughly impressed. The variety and quantity of sandwiches were excellent. The scones, served with butter, clotted cream, and jam, were delightful. The mini cakes were also very tasty. The teapot, accompanied by a hot water kettle, was filled with loose tea leaves. It was great value, and we would highly recommend it!

What a delightful spot for afternoon tea! Our window-side table was reserved upon our arrival, which was a lovely surprise and made us feel welcomed. The food was beautifully presented, and the staff were friendly and eager to accommodate us. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!
