A first visit despite passing it regularly. Booked a works meal in for 12 of us and Liz was great sending over the menus which had a great variety with something for everyone. It was a busy Friday night, nothing was to much trouble and the staff were lovely and welcoming with smiles and a sense of humour. It’s a very dog friendly pub. Shall be back again definitely. Parking: Parking is split with the village hall car park. If it’s busy in the pub and the car park is full, providing the village isn’t in use you can park the other side otherwise it’s road parking Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chicken Ceasar Salad, Bangers and Mash, Fish Chips in Beer Batter, Steak Ale Pie- Homemade with Tender Chunks Parking options: Free street parking
