I really guess Chef gordon ramsay would have a field day now. the service has declined. the endless salat experience was bad. no wonder what salat we wanted, no mix before us and it was not fresh or as big as before. that was okay. I was for the ribs. they were tasty, but the fries were medium and dry. I felt a little hurry. my tipp seemed to be the focus of the waiter. not the service he provided for a tipp. I'm not sure if I would travel from orlando to haines city again. also the closure 192 influenced this. If it was closer, I might try. to summarize it. normally in a two-week holiday I would eat there three times. will the real manny please stand up.
The review of this review is based on 2 visits. 8 years ago I was desperate to give my friend the experience of manny as it was phenomenal before. at our first visit were the food, service and ambiente 5*. we could not wait to come back. in our last night in orlando we decided to come back to an early dinner before the parks. that was a mistake. we were sitting at 18:30 a.m., which gave us a lot of time to come back to disney at 9 a.m. (or so we thought.) the server was very mischievous and everywhere, our appetizers arrived before the broth, and once they burned them to check if we had been served our appetizers (she is the one who served them). She didn't complain. my steak, while hot, felt like it was sitting under a heating for 10 minutes, and had dried out. to make something worse, the mac and cheese side I had ordered was cold and the speck seemed to be raw. after the “reheating” of mac and cheese my steak (ordered medium) rarely came back. that was sent back to be fired again. when the steak and the side came back for the third time, the steak was still rare, and the mac and the cheese were still cold. I ate the steak and asked that the mac be sworn for pommes. I finally noticed, after requesting the bill, that I had been accused for the mac and the cheese that was sent back uneaten. I asked to talk to the manager because the server was very inconspicuous. she sent a young gentleman who claimed to be the manager, but from what we saw had to act all night as a busboy. I explained that it was very disappointing not to eat a meal at the same time, and to have to send the same dish back 3 times. I also explained that it was our last night in orlando before I returned to the united kingdom. as compensation he offered us a gift card (to which I pointed out that we cannot use in Britain) and ended a steak and mac from the meal. he then disappeared 20 minutes so we couldn't get the right bill. sure to say we missed the fireworks show at disney, wasted for the extra hour. this made an acidic note to what should have been a great one last night
What a great place! We were broken-hearted that it didn't fly in Lakeland but the Lake Wales restaurant is running beautifully obviously! The portions were incredible, we'll have two more meals after we get home! The food was so good! the waiter, Stephen, was funny, helpful, and courteous.
Food was amazing and service first class. The bottomless salad meant you didn't need a starter. Would recommend all to visit if you are in the area of Haines city chophouse
Recently we arrived at Manny's around 9pm. We were going to be a party of 5. Four of us were there with the 5th minutes away. The restaurant was about a third full so many tables were available. They wouldn't seat us until t he everyone was present. This is a policy that may be good for the restaurant (I don't see how), but it is definitely not customer friendly. We had to wait at the door until the last person arrived. If it weren't the only upscale dining in town we would take our business elsewhere.
