ホルモン Yán Jiū Suǒ - Hakodate

This is a local Japanese restaurant REAL. It combines traditional Japanese dishes with some Korean dishes. (BBQ) As I come to the restaurant, the staff are surprised that travelers visit their place. The cook is a local Japanese who knows neither English nor Chinese. Fortunately, one of the employees can speak English. And they are so nice to help us understand what the dishes are. They serve PORK (organs, meat), beef (meat) and chicken (meat). Soft drink and Japanese wine (SAKE).

SUPER authentic Japanese Yakiniku experience here! No English menu or any English in the restaurant, but we took the chance and tried to find out things and it was ALL WORTH IT! The Japanese lady waitress who spoke a little English was also super helpful! Super good service and even better food! Prices are also very reasonable. If you are in the area and are willing to try the unknown (no English guide), then you are for a treat!
