Cookie Jar The Cafe - Haldwani

This café is amazing. The decor is beautiful and the cake is incredible. They should definitely bring back the red velvet, truffles, mango cakes, and slurry cakes.

Its more of bakery, food served here is good and fresh. Wide variety of cookies and bakery items. Light on wallet and heavy on stomach.

I visited this restaurant for a business meeting and was served coffee in a paper cup, while others were served in regular mugs. When I asked about this, I was told it was due to COVID precautions. However, I noticed that other customers were later served in regular mugs. I felt like I was being treated unfairly and when I asked about it, I received an unapologetic response. As a paying customer, I expect a certain level of service and friendliness from the staff. I enjoyed the restaurant but after this experience, I will not be returning.

Initially, I don't want to sound negative, but I must share my experience from my recent visit to this restaurant. The ambiance and renovations were pleasing, however, the food quality was disappointing. Our order of red pasta even had a hair strand in it, which was quite unpleasant. We brought this to the attention of our waiter and showed him the hair (I wish I had taken a picture of the pasta). We did not pay for the pasta on our bill. The man at the front counter argued that since the pasta was already eaten, there was no issue with the hair. Unfortunately, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant and will only recommend it to my friends with caution.

This is one of the most famous caffes in the nainital. the cookie varieties are simply great and ingenious with taste and quality. the entire ambiente of the place is great.
