Matsumoto's Shave Ice - Haleiwa

I was excited to see what this was all about because of all the reviews/photos regarding this shave ice place.

Being a native of NoLa, I've had my share of snowballs and I have to say that these aren't bad.

Great that almost all offers here are vegan. line can be a bit long as it is a popular location, but they are very efficient to get people in and out quickly. we have the little hawaii. still big, good to share. we both found the sirupe too sweet. enjoyed the first few bites, but we couldn't even have the half with how sweet it was.

Even though there was a long line, the wait was surprisingly short. The staff churned out razor ice cream quickly and efficiently, almost like a conveyor belt. The razor ice cream was delicious, and the small size was large enough and reasonably priced. Overall, very impressive.

The best traditional razor ice cream on the island!!!! Werth the wait 100% There is a beautiful large tree for shadows while you wait and there was even live music while we were there, making the whole experience quite pleasant. We decided to enjoy our treats there as it was so beautifully decorated. Add this to your list when you are in Haleiwa
