Absolutely beautiful. Try to go if possible! Plus, if you have a membership it will count for a bunch of similar gardens nationwide! Definitely recommend in the summer time because there's obviously nothing at all in winter.
Went to check out the new children’s garden. Very fun and colorful!
I went in late May. Nice garden, not the most well-maintained but it's still a good experience.
Smaller than we thought but worth the small admission fee, especially because a special Alice in wonderland art Display was still up for viewing. Spent about 2.5 hours walking around in August. Most of the roses were already wilting, but my kid liked to pet the koi fish near the rose garden. A lot of the nicer plants and planters are seen first thing by the main building, didn 't seem like they invested the same time and effort throughout the rest of the place, unless we were just visiting at the wrong time.Margie 's garden was the other area with better blooming flower arrangements. The slides were a nice surprise for our 4 year old. Missed opportunity for at least a small water feature, but the little houses made up for that. They installed a couple little free libraries but you aren 't allowed to take any, even if you added a book (Another missed opportunity to build community and share).Overall, I think we 'd come back, but myabe earlier In the summer.Playground: The new playground in Margie gardens just consists of two small slides, a couple play houses and a couple art installments to make music. There 's also a few animal sculptures to climb atop.Restrooms: Main building has nice clean stallsDog-friendliness: No dogs allowedPicnic area: There 's a small picnic area in Margie 's gardens that I 'm assuming you can eat snacks at. I don 't think it 's allowed in the rest of the garden areas, but could be wrong.
