This truely is a country pub with all the bells and whistles. If you get the chance to eat outside the views are stunning and the food is excellent. Well worth a visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Despite online reviews of a ‘grumpy’ owner we found him extremely friendly and helpful! The meal was delicious: I had the chicken and my husband had the sea bass, and the views towards the hills from the garden are superb. One tiny caveat is that I would suggest a proper topping on the apple and plum crumble, rather than a sprinkling of muesli. That said, I would highly recommend the Windmill Inn.
