Lion's Head Tavern - Halifax

Went with a group of ten for a birthday. Food was enjoyable especially the cajun haddock and the steak night specials. Fries are not fresh cut but the nice mix of fresh veggies was appreciated. Food delivery here always seems prompt.

Nice little place up near the North End of Halifax. Met up with friends at this tavern, and they were running specials on beer pints. Got their mozzarella sticks and nachos, both were pretty fresh and tasty. Staff is friendly, courteous and helpful to make suggestions. Place is well kept as well. Strongly recommend!

I came here with a group for lunch on the patio. The service was very friendly and helpful. The menu specified which options were vegan and gluten free. Some menu options were both.

First the service was fantastic. The lady helping us was super nice and we appreciated her. Place is nice, much bigger than the old spot but the food is not great. My son had a burger and I had fish and chips. Fish was not good despite the large portion you get. Fries were good. I won’t go back. Quality of food has gone down while prices have gone up in the new spot.

Our first visit in Halifax! Our accomodation host recommended Lion's Head. Very spacious, good for small and large groups.
