Good home style food....friendly staff...good location for attending events at the Scotia Bank Centre.
It's a really good bar to go to downtown. Depending on the night, it can get pretty crowded (although this is to be expected as it is in the downtown core). Drinks are affordable, as well as the cover charge ($5)
This restaurant in Downtown Halifax has an awesome and unique atmosphere that is quiet and secluded.
During my time in Halifax, I visited the Economy Shoe Shop (RIP, as it's closing soon) with some friends for dinner and drinks.
