Coburg Social - Halifax

Amazing location! I really enjoyed the ambiance and the friendly staff. Although there was a mistake with my order, they were quick to correct it and were very apologetic. The staff even suggested a delicious sandwich for me to try. Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming.

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Halifax because we enjoyed it so much. Both times we went for brunch and found the food to be fresh and well-prepared. I highly recommend the veggie bagel and lemon square. The atmosphere is very peaceful and pleasant as well.

I found this restaurant to be pricier than a typical coffee shop in Toronto. I ordered the Coburg bagel and a tea, which cost $18. The food was quite ordinary and I believe I could have made a tastier bagel at home and saved some money.

Lovely little coffee place. Amazing service and people here! The food is fresh and delicious as well as coffee. Prices are fair. You can stay and work, the decor and ambiance are just great. Many gluten free options. I'll come back anytimeFood: 5/5

Roughly $50 after tax for two sandwiches that tasted alright and two iced coffees that had coffee grounds in the bottoms of both cups. They were out of a few items on the menu as well. Not a bad dining experience, but the pricing was not reflected in the quality of my experience. I had their classic sandwich once on another occasion and I liked it a fair amount, and if you’re getting a sandwich and nothing else then the bill is more reasonable than the previous meal, around $15 after tax tip for a sandwich. Will probably try again in a few weeks or months to reevaluate.
