Divine Dishes - Halifax

I took a walk at a local park and noticed the sign for Divine Dishes while I was leaving and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. I love supporting a small local shop and the pasta salad I ordered was fantastic, and the chocolate explosion cookie was amazing.

We had Divine dishes cater our office luncheon. WOW! What a great selection of food and very good. They really know how to cater with an onsite staff to set up and serve. Highly recommend them for your next lunch or dinner catering.

Every thing I have tried here has been very good. Especially love the gourmet pizza. The fish cakes and beans on Fridays are great.

We had a function for 120, the hot menu was Sweet n sour meatballs and rice. The most tender perfectly seasoned meatballs in flavourful sweet and tangy sauce on fluffy rice. We taste tested the caterers in the area who had positive reviews, this won hands down. The shoppe has bistro tables outside and store front raised stool seating. When you walk into the quaint cafe you are transported to a time where the pastry cases were filled with drool worthy desserts. Gourmet food at fantastic prices, everyone at the event raved about the hot menu. You can't go wrong with this one, trust me.
