Heartwood Restaurant - Halifax

There were not really many people there that I was sad to see because eating was spectacular and I would like to be able to come for many years!

We LOVED Heartwood and would love to come back again as soon as possible. The ambiance is lovely and relaxing, the service is reasonably quick, and the staff is so nice and friendly. Our 100% vegan food was absolutely delicious with beautiful presentation it...was all very healthy, flavorful, and filling. We also got the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake and coconut banana cashew pie for dessert, both of which were delicious but not overly sweet, leaving us satisfied without sugar overload. We will definitely return when we're back in Halifax!

My friend and I ate here and I was very impressed. We were first in, right at 11am, and they were very friendly and professional. My Heartwood Bowl had delicious veggies and tofu over brown rice and peanut sauce and I enjoyed it very much....Will return!

We had a wonderful experience in this restaurant last Friday (before the hurrikan.) our service has done a good job to make recommendations that are in line with our nutritional restrictions (vegan gluten-free). she gave us great advice and our meal was really good. the cinnamon...Cookies are awesome for a dessert look! this is worth a visit if they are in the city and want to experience good vegan cuisine

We started with the steamed green and then had the vegan pizza and the thai burger. it was very good. beautiful staff and service!
